PronounceAI™

PronounceAI™ allows you to upload reading assignments for your classes and lets the student read them. PronounceAI listens to the student read, and highlights incorrect and mispronounced words. PronounceAI speaks the word to the student for those words the student is missing or mispronouncing. PronounceAI tracks the student’s reading progress.

For beginner readers, PronounceAI offers a feature where the text can be read aloud to the students. This allows them to follow along with the text without the need to speak the words, providing a comfortable and supportive learning environment as they develop their reading skills.

Mispronouncing a word versus totally misreading a word:

Here are examples distinguishing between mispronouncing a word versus totally misreading a word:

Mispronouncing the Word:

1. Word: "Library"
* Mispronunciation: Saying "libary" or “leberry” instead of "library."
* Explanation: The student skips the second "r," which is a common pronunciation mistake.

Totally Misreading the Word:
1. Word: "Through"
* Misreading: Reading "through" as "thorough."
* Explanation: The student confuses it with another word that looks similar but has a different meaning and pronunciation.
Mispronouncing involves altering the sounds within the correct word, while totally misreading involves recognizing the word incorrectly and substituting it with another word.
